Penn State sophomore running back Nick Singleton comes in at No. 3 among all running backs nationally in the On3 NIL Valuation, the sites latest updates show. Singleton is No. 20 nationally among all college football in On3’s NIL Valuation rankings system, which blends known NIL deals with performance, social media presence and overall exposure (among other things) to calculate an athlete’s overall brand value.
Singleton’s brand is valued at $883,000 which slots in at No. 31 among both college football and men’s and women’s basketball. Singleton is credited with 46,000 social media followers between Instagram and Twitter.
Penn State has two more players On3’s NIL Top 100, including edge rusher Chop Robinson, who is No. 60 [$689,000], and offensive tackle and presumed future top 10 pick Olu Fashanu, who is No. 89 [$541,000]. Linebacker Abdul Carter [$487,000] and cornerback Kalen King [$396,000] slot in at No. 108 and No. 161, respectively. Interestingly enough, presumed Penn State starting quarterback Drew Allar comes in at No. 179 nationally with a brand valuation currently of $262,000.
At their individual positions Robinson is the fifth-highest edge rusher while Fashanu is No. 2 behind Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt. The On3 valuation credits Alt with a negligible valuation difference of three grand more than Fashanu.
Only time – and wins – will determine how much those figures change in the coming months as the Nittany Lions look to make good on their potential on and off the field.
